Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

What this is: An Airworthiness Directive (AD) issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) under the Civil Aviation Regulations 1998.

Original purpose: This directive (referenced as Modification 4/68) previously mandated a specific safety modification to the flap centre hinge bolt on British Aerospace BAe 125 series aircraft.

Current status: The actual requirements have been removed from the register. The document now serves only as a placeholder noting that the aircraft model is no longer registered in Australia (meaning no BAe 125 aircraft currently operate under the Australian register).

Who it affects: Currently, no one — since the directive's operative content has been removed. Historically, it applied to owners and operators of BAe 125 series aeroplanes to ensure flap hinge bolt integrity.
