Plain English Summary

6/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive (AD) requires operators of Embraer EMB-110 Bandeirante aeroplanes with the listed fittings (those over 5,000 hours TIS or more than two years since manufacture) to replace or inspect horizontal stabiliser attachment fittings using Embraer Service Bulletin 110-053-0022 Revision 4. The CASA delegate issued the AD under CASR authority and revoked the prior AD. Operators must follow the SB’s instructions and meet the AD’s stated time limits (for example, within 900 hours TIS or six months where applicable) and bear the cost and downtime of inspections or replacements.
