| Background: | The manufacturer was informed of an incorrect installation of the roll-spoiler actuator lockplates. The aircraft maintenance manual did not reflect the correct installation. An incorrectly installed lockplate could lead to deformation of the fork, which could result in a fatigue fracture. |
