Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of Dornier 328‑100 aircraft (serials 3005–3095) to carry out the corrective actions set out in LBA AD 1998‑358 and Dornier Service Bulletin SB‑328‑27‑263 to correct incorrectly installed roll‑spoiler actuator lockplates.

CASA (via its delegate) set an effective date and a compliance deadline (effective 16 March 2006; comply by 31 March 2006); operators bear inspection and maintenance costs because the aircraft maintenance manual did not reflect the correct installation that can cause fork deformation and fatigue fracture.
