Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This safety order requires operators of Pacific Aerospace Cresco 08-600 aircraft to inspect the aileron control cables for serious wear at a hard-to-see spot, following Pacific Aerospace Service Bulletin PACSB/CR/033. The first inspection must occur at the next 100‑hour maintenance check after 13 May 2004, then every 1,000 flight hours or 12 months, whichever is sooner.

It’s intended to prevent cable failure that could cause loss of roll control and catastrophic accidents.
