Plain English Summary

5/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Bombardier CL-600-2B19 (serial numbers 7003–7269) to inspect IDG (integrated drive generator) cables and pylon firewall separators for chafing, and to repair, replace or modify cables and fittings per Bombardier ASB A601R-24-091 Revision B. Specified conduits, clamps (P/N TA121010R14-04) and Teflon strips must be installed where indicated. CASA says the measure responds to reported chafing that could cause loss of electrical power or firewall integrity; compliance costs and parts/repairs fall to operators.
