What this does

Originally, the safety fix only applied to aircraft with specific serial numbers listed in the manufacturer's bulletin. However, reports showed the door fouling problem was happening on planes outside that original list. This amendment expands the order to cover every R182 model to prevent potential landing gear damage or failure.

Amdt 1

Applicability: All model R182 aeroplanes.

Nose Gear Door 3/82

Requirement: Action in accordance with Cessna SL SE78-8.

Compliance: Unless already accomplished, within 25 hours time in service after 2 February 1982.

Background: Door fouling has been reported on aircraft outside the serial number effectivity listed in the Service Bulletin.
