Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This is an aviation safety directive for anyone operating Beechcraft 95 (Travelair) series aircraft.

What it requires:

Inspect the rear attachment rails of the second-row seats to check if they have "stops" (physical barriers) at the forward ends
Modify if needed: If those stops are missing, owners must install specific stop assemblies (part number 414-180657-3) or an equivalent part approved by the Secretary (the relevant government official)

Why it matters: Missing stops could allow seats to slide too far forward during flight, potentially causing passenger injury or interfering with aircraft controls.

Compliance: Operators were required to complete this inspection and any necessary modifications by the specified deadline.
