Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive requires owners/operators of Beechcraft Baron 95‑55, 55 and 58 series to inspect passenger seat rear attachment rails for forward-end stops and install stop assemblies (P/N 414‑180657‑3 or Secretary‑approved equivalent) where missing to prevent seats from sliding forward in sudden deceleration.

For 95‑55/55 inspect second‑row rear rails only; for 58 inspect first‑ and second‑row rear rails. Prior compliance for 95‑55/55 remains valid.
