Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD requires operators of specified Boeing 767 models to inspect cargo-compartment fire extinguisher orifices for correct part fitment, and to carry out any corrective work by following the referenced FAA AD and Boeing service bulletin. It matters because parts may have been misinstalled in production. Affected operators bear costs and downtime; the Civil Aviation Safety Authority enforces compliance while maintenance organisations must obtain and apply the external technical procedures.
