Compliance: Unless previously carried out, by 8 February 2001.
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 15 June 2000.
Background: Advice has been received that a brake housing fractured due to the higher loads associated with brake vibration during landing gear retraction. The action specified in this Directive should prevent a failure of the brake housing.
