Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive mandates replacing a hydraulic reducer in the alternate brake selector valve with a restrictor fitting per Boeing Service Bulletin 767-32-0152. It targets Boeing 767-200/300/300F airframes (line numbers 1–607) fitted with S160T300-series carbon brakes.

It aims to prevent brake-housing fractures caused by vibration during gear retraction. Operators bear parts, labour and downtime costs and must have approved maintenance organisations perform the work to meet the safety requirement.

Compliance: Unless previously carried out, by 8 February 2001.
