Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This instrument cancels Australian Airworthiness Directive AD/B747/332 (cancellation date 24 February 2010), which had required inspections/repairs of fuselage stringers on Boeing 747s. It affects Australian-registered owners and operators of Boeing 747 series aeroplanes. The Australian requirement is superseded by FAA AD 2010-01-02 (issued 17 December 2009) and, under CASR Part 39.001A (from 1 October 2009), operators must now follow the FAA directive instead.
