4/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive compels operators of the listed Airbus A330 models fitted with escape slide part numbers 7A1509-101–117 (serials AD001–AD0855) at door 3 Type I to perform the corrective actions set out in DGAC AD 2001-359(B) R3 — including adjustment of the slide soft-cover speed lacing — to prevent slide non-deployment. It is effective 26 December 2002. Operators pay for inspections and fixes; the CASA delegate requires the maintenance/installation changes and enforces compliance, changing how door 3 slides are serviced and installed.
