Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This safety order requires airlines operating Airbus A319/A320/A321 to prevent passenger-door jamming after a small metal sleeve ("bush") shifted and trapped evacuees. Operators must either perform recurring inspections (first within 450 flight hours, then every 900) or install a permanent modification kit (part 521027A02) within 3,500 flight hours. This amendment only updates technical-document references; the obligations are unchanged.
