Requirement: Unless already accomplished, action in accordance with:\n\n    Airbus Industrie AOT 52-04 Revision 1 dated 12 October 1993, or Airbus Industrie SB A320-52-1047, and\n\n    2. Airbus Industrie S.B. A320-52-1027, limited to the installation of kit number 521027A02 on all doors.\n\nNote: DGAC AD 93-207-048(B) R1 refers.\n\nCompliance: 1. Within 450 hours’ time in service after 19 January 1994 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 900 hours’ time in service until modified.\n\n2. Within 3 500 hours’ time in service after 19 January 1994.\n\nThe compliance of the original AD remains unchanged, this amendment is effective 15 September 1994.\n\nBackground: During an emergency evacuation, one of the passenger doors jammed in a near closed position against the fuselage structure. Subsequent investigation found that the lower connecting link bush had migrated. Amendment 1 corrects the repeat inspection compliance time.
