| Applicability: | Model 750XL aeroplanes serial numbers 110 to 120 inclusive. |

| Requirement: | If not previously accomplished, inspect and modify the insulation on the wiring looms within the cockpit centre console in accordance with Pacific Aerospace Corporation Service Bulletin PACSB/XL/016 Issue 1 dated 23 September 2005. |

| Compliance: | Within ten hours time in service after the effective date of this Directive. |
| This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 9 December 2005. | |
| Background: | An in-services electrical short circuit has been reported to the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority, involving abrasion of the wiring insulation against the fasteners of the plug back-shells on the wiring loom located in the cockpit centre console. |
| This Directive requires an inspection of the wiring loom together with the installation of additional mechanical protection for the wiring and tie-wraps securing the looms away from the back-shells of the plugs. |
