#### 191Y Automatic re‑appointment of incumbent pending appointment of successor When section applies (1) This section applies if: (a) a person appointed under subsection 191X(1) (the incumbent) ceases to hold a particular office of Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation Director because of the expiry of the period specified in the instrument of appointment; and (b) there is not in force an instrument under subsection 191X(1) re‑appointing the incumbent, or appointing another person, to that office with effect from the end of that period. Automatic re‑appointment (2) The Minister is taken to have re‑appointed the incumbent to that office under this subsection with effect from the end of that period. Section 191X does not apply to the re‑appointment. Tenure (3) The Minister may terminate the appointment of the incumbent at any time if an appointment under subsection 191X(1) of another person to that office takes effect immediately after that time. This subsection has effect despite section 191Z.
