Section 298L(1)(h) which refers inter alia to an employee who "is entitled to the benefit of an industrial instrument or an award", continues the protection of a type first afforded to employees by the concluding words of sub-section 9(1) of the 1904 Act.

Section 9(1)(c) of the 1914 amendment is recognisable as the predecessor of s298L(1)(j) of the Act.
