Summary
- On 28 May 2020, the Appellant applied for a Category AB firearms licence under the Firearms Act 1996 (NSW) ("Firearms Act"). That application was refused by the Commissioner of Police ("Commissioner") on the basis that it was not in the public interest for him to hold a firearms licence: s 11(7) of the Firearms Act.
- The Appellant applied to the Tribunal for a review of the decision. The Tribunal affirmed the Commissioner's decision to refuse the firearms licence. The Appellant now appeals from the Tribunal's decision.
- For the reasons set out below we have dismissed the appeal.
