1094 New clause 59A of Schedule 8 inserted

After clause 59 of Schedule 8 to the Magistrates' Court Act 1989 insert—

"59A Transitional—Youth Justice Act 2024

The amendment made to section 25 by the Youth Justice Act 2024 applies to a committal hearing commenced on or after the commencement of that amendment.".
