158D Voluntary separation centre if the detainee requests the separation. (2) As soon as practicable after a detainee is separated under this (3) If a detainee is separated under this section, members of staff of the detention centre must have contact with the detainee at least once every hour during the separation. (4) If a detainee who is separated under this section requests to be released from separation, the detainee must be released from separation immediately. (5) The superintendent may withdraw an authorisation under subsection (1) if the superintendent considers that separation is no longer appropriate. Youth Justice Act 2005 105
