620 Regulations (1) The Governor in Council may make regulations for or with respect to— (a) prescribing forms; and (b) prescribing fees; and (c) any matter or thing required or permitted by this Act, the **Accident Compensation Act 1985** or the **Workers Compensation Act 1958** to be prescribed or necessary to be prescribed to give effect to this Act, the **Accident Compensation Act 1985** or the **Workers Compensation Act 1958**. (2) The regulations— (a) may be of general or of specially limited application; and (b) may differ according to differences in time, place or circumstance; and (c) may confer a discretionary authority, or impose a duty, on a specified person or body or class of person or body; and (d) may apply, adopt or incorporate, with or without modification, any matter contained in any document, code, standard, rule, specification or method formulated, issued, prescribed or published by any authority or body as formulated, issued, prescribed or published at the time the regulation is made or at any time before the regulation is made; and (e) may make provision for or in relation to any matter by applying, adopting or incorporating, with or without modification, the provisions of any Act of the Commonwealth or of any statutory rule or other instrument made under an Act of the Commonwealth, as in force at a particular time or as in force from time to time; and (f) may impose a penalty not exceeding 10 penalty units for a contravention of the regulations. (3) Sections 6 and 7 of the **Subordinate Legislation Act 1994** do not apply to the first regulations made under this section. S. 621 expired by force of No. 67/2013 s. 621(6).
