610 Directions given for the purposes of Part 4 (1) A copy of each direction given in accordance with section 609 for the purposes of Part 4, or an amendment or revocation of a direction given in accordance with that section for the purposes of that Part*,* must be laid before both Houses of Parliament on or before the 6th sitting day after notice of the direction, amendment or revocation is published in the Government Gazette. (2) Parts 3A and 5A of the **Subordinate Legislation Act 1994** apply to a direction given, amended or revoked in accordance with subsection (1) as if it were a legislative instrument within the meaning of that Act laid before each House of the Parliament under section 16B of that Act.
