594 Service of documents on the Authority (1) Any notice, summons, writ or other process and any return, application, notice, statement or form to be served on the Authority for the purposes of this Act, the **Accident Compensation Act 1985** or the **Workers Compensation Act 1958** or regulations under this Act may be served— (a) by being lodged at the office of the Authority; or (b) if an authorised agent is acting on behalf of the Authority in the relevant matter, by being lodged at the office of the authorised agent; or (c) on a person employed in the administration of this Act, the **Accident Compensation Act 1985** or the **Workers Compensation Act 1958** and authorised in writing by the Authority to accept service of documents on behalf of the Authority. (2) This section is in addition to, and not in derogation of, any other provisions of this Act, the **Interpretation of Legislation Act 1984** or the **Electronic Transactions (Victoria) Act 2000** relating to the service of documents.
