312 Medical Panel may request further information (1) If a medical question has been referred to a Medical Panel and the Medical Panel considers that further information is required to enable it to form a medical opinion on the question— (a) the Medical Panel may request the worker, or the person or body referring the medical question, to provide the information within the period specified in the request, not being a period less than 14 days after the date on which the worker last attended for examination by the Medical Panel; and (b) the Medical Panel must consider the information provided; and (c) the time limit specified in section 313(1) is suspended from the date on which the request under paragraph (a) is made until the end of the period specified in the request. (2) The Medical Panel may accept any further information requested under subsection (1)(a) which is provided after the period specified in the request under subsection (1).
