281 Definitions S. 281(1) def. of *arbitration hearing* inserted by No. 15/2021 s. 15. ***arbitration hearing*** means a hearing held before ACCS for the purpose of determining a dispute by arbitration; S. 281(1) def. of *conciliation conference* amended by No. 73/2016 s. 21(2). ***conciliation conference*** means a conference held with or before ACCS— (a) to resolve; or (b) for the purpose of giving directions in connection with— a dispute referred for conciliation; S. 281(1) def. of *dispute* amended by No. 27/2025 s. 19(a). ***dispute*** means a dispute to which this Division applies; S. 281(1) def. of *resolution certificate* inserted by No. 27/2025 s. 19(b). ***resolution certificate*** means a certificate issued under section 301ZC(2). S. 281(2) amended by No. 5/2021 s. 14(a)(b). (2) This Division applies to a dispute in connection with a claim for compensation under this Act or the **Accident Compensation Act 1985** or a request for provisional payments under Division 10 of Part 5 of this Act or Division 2BA of Part IV of the **Accident Compensation Act 1985** between the person who makes, or has made, the claim or request and any one or more of the following— (a) the employer (not being a self-insurer or an eligible subsidiary of a self-insurer) of the relevant worker; S. 281(2)(b) amended by No. 5/2021 s. 14(c).
