254 Time limit for making applications (1) A worker wishing to apply for a settlement must do so before the expiry of 6 months from the date the Authority or self-insurer gives him or her a response under section 252(2). (2) If a worker who is entitled to apply for a settlement under Subdivision 1 or 2 fails to comply with subsection (1), the worker is not entitled to apply for a settlement under Subdivision 1 or 2 until he or she gives the Authority or self-insurer another expression of interest in applying for a settlement and is given another response under section 252(2).
