11 Statement of rights and obligations of workers A worker— (a) is entitled to appropriate compensation under this Act or the **Accident Compensation Act 1985** in relation to an injury to the worker arising out of or in the course of employment; and (b) must give notice of an injury to the employer in accordance with this Act; and (c) must comply with any requirement under this Act, the **Accident Compensation Act 1985** or the **Workers Compensation Act 1958** relating to a claim for compensation; and (d) is entitled to information relevant to a claim for compensation in accordance with section 9; and S. 11(e) amended by No. 27/2025 s. 5(a). (e) must comply with the obligations of a worker specified in section 27 and Division 3 of Part 4; and S. 11(f) inserted by No. 27/2025 s. 5(b). (f) is entitled to be treated fairly, respectfully and with dignity when pursuing their entitlement to compensation under this Act.
