#### 120 Medical examination of worker at direction of Commission 120 Medical examination of worker at direction of Commission (cf former s 130) > > (1) The Commission or the Authority may, at any time or from time to time, require any worker— > > > > > (a) who claims compensation under this Act, or > > > > > (b) who is in receipt of weekly payments of compensation under this Act, > > > > to submit himself or herself for examination by a medical assessor on a date and at a place arranged by the Commission. > > > (2) If a worker refuses to submit himself or herself for any such examination or in any way obstructs the examination— > > > > > (a) the worker’s right to recover compensation under this Act with respect to the injury, or > > > > > (b) the worker’s right to weekly payments, > > > > is suspended until the examination has taken place. > > **s 120:** Am 2001 No 61, Sch 6.2 \[20\]; 2020 No 18, Sch 6.11\[18\].
