sec.629 Proceedings for offences against former ss 176K and 176L
This section applies in relation to an offence against former section 176K or 176L committed by a person before the commencement. Without limiting the Acts Interpretation Act 1954 , section 20 , a proceeding for the offence may be continued, and the person may be convicted of and punished for the offence, as if the amendment Act had not been enacted. Subsection (2) applies despite the Criminal Code , section 11 . s 629 ins 2024 No. 50 s 120 (sec.629-ssec.1) This section applies in relation to an offence against former section 176K or 176L committed by a person before the commencement.
