sec.235 Requirements before deciding person poses risk to safety of children
This section applies if the chief executive is proposing to decide that a person poses a risk to the safety of children. Before deciding the person’s application, the chief executive must— give the person written notice of the matters set out in section 236 ; and consider any submissions made by the person about the matters set out in section 236 (1) (c) . s 235 ins 2010 No. 5 s 58 amd 2014 No. 28 ss 55 , 58 ; 2019 No. 18 s 86 (1) sch 1 ; 2022 No. 34 s 365 sch 3 sub 2024 No. 50 s 56 (sec.235-ssec.1) This section applies if the chief executive is proposing to decide that a person poses a risk to the safety of children. (sec.235-ssec.2) Before deciding the person’s application, the chief executive must— give the person written notice of the matters set out in section 236 ; and consider any submissions made by the person about the matters set out in section 236 (1) (c) .
