sec.193A Effect of interim bar imposed under Disability Services Act 2006

This section applies if— the applicant has also made a disability worker screening application, regardless of whether the applicant made a combined application; and the chief executive is aware that an interim bar has been imposed on the applicant under the Disability Services Act 2006 , section 82 . The chief executive is not required to decide the applicant’s working with children check application until the chief executive becomes aware that the interim bar is no longer in effect. If the chief executive defers deciding the working with children check application under subsection (2) , the chief executive must give the applicant a written notice about the deferral. s 193A ins 2020 No. 39 s 38 amd 2024 No. 50 s 47 (sec.193A-ssec.1) This section applies if— the applicant has also made a disability worker screening application, regardless of whether the applicant made a combined application; and the chief executive is aware that an interim bar has been imposed on the applicant under the Disability Services Act 2006 , section 82 . (sec.193A-ssec.2) The chief executive is not required to decide the applicant’s working with children check application until the chief executive becomes aware that the interim bar is no longer in effect. (sec.193A-ssec.3) If the chief executive defers deciding the working with children check application under subsection (2) , the chief executive must give the applicant a written notice about the deferral.
