73B Determination for payment of compensation

(1)  [Section 73B Subsection (1) amended by No. 42 of 2007, s. 21, Applied:31 Oct 2007] A determination for the payment of compensation for a claim for permanent impairment or industrial deafness is to include a statement of the percentage of the whole person impairment of the worker at the date of the determination.

(2)  [Section 73B Subsection (2) amended by No. 42 of 2007, s. 21, Applied:31 Oct 2007] A person who makes a payment of compensation for a claim for permanent impairment or industrial deafness is to advise the Board of –

(a) the date of the determination; and

(b) [Section 73B Subsection (2) amended by No. 42 of 2007, s. 21, Applied:31 Oct 2007] in the case of a payment for industrial deafness, the degree of industrial deafness of the worker in respect of whom the payment is made; and

(c) the percentage of the whole person impairment of the worker at the date of the determination.

(3)  [Section 73B Subsection (3) amended by No. 42 of 2007, s. 21, Applied:31 Oct 2007] The Board is to keep a register of all determinations for the payment of compensation for permanent impairment or industrial deafness.
