### 164A Application of Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Amendment Act 2009 > [*\[Section 164A Inserted by No. 85 of 2009, s. 50, Applied:01 Jul 2010\]*](/view/html/inforce/2010-07-01/act-2009-085#GS50@EN) Except for – > > > > (a) this section; and > > > > > (b) [sections 143L](#GS143L@EN) and [143M](#GS143M@EN) – > > as inserted in this Act by the [Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Amendment Act 2009](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-2009-085) , the amendments made to this Act by that Act do not apply in relation to a worker in respect of an injury suffered by the worker before the day on which this section comes into effect.
