### 164 Savings, transitional and other provisions
> > (1) [Schedules 8](#JS8@EN) and [9](#JS9@EN) have effect.

> > (2) The Governor may make regulations containing provisions of a savings or transitional nature consequent on the enactment of this Act.

> > (3) A provision made under [subsection (2)](#GS164@Gs2@EN) may take effect from and including the day fixed by proclamation under [section 2](#GS2@EN) [(2)](#GS2@Gs2@EN) or from and including a later day.
