149Recovery of compensation over-paid

### 149 Recovery of compensation over-paid > Where in respect of any claim for compensation a person has received a payment by way of compensation in excess of the payment to which he was entitled under this Act, the licensed insurer, employer, or Nominal Insurer, as the case may be – > > > > (a) may recover from the first-mentioned person as a debt due and payable to him or it the difference between the payment received by that first-mentioned person and the payment to which he was entitled; or > > > > > (b) may deduct from any money that may become payable to or in relation to that first-mentioned person in respect of that claim the difference between the payment received by him or in relation to him and the payment to which he or any person in relation to him was entitled.
