### 132 Interpretation of Part X
> In this Part, unless the contrary intention appears –
>
> > ***compensation***, used in relation to an injury, means any compensation or any such expenses as are referred to in [section 75](#GS75@EN) payable in respect of that injury under this Act;
>
> > ***damages*** means damages recoverable (whether by virtue of an enactment or otherwise) in respect of any civil liability in the employer, however arising;
>
> > ***employer***, used in relation to an injury suffered by a worker, includes any person who, in respect of that injury, is liable, under [section 29](#GS29@EN) , to pay compensation or to indemnify any other person for any compensation paid by that other person.
