84 Definitions
(1) In this Part, and in Schedules 6 and 7—
health service provider has the same meaning as in the Health Care Complaints Act 1993.
insurer includes an employer.
number of an item in a Table in Part 2 of Schedule 6 includes a letter.
(2) Expressions used in this Part, and in Schedules 6 and 7, have the same meanings as they have in Division 1 of Part 8 of Chapter 7 of the 1998 Act.
Note.
Section 332(2) of the 1998 Act provides that expressions used in Division 1 of Part 8 of Chapter 7 of that Act have the same meanings as they have in the legal costs legislation (as defined in section 3A of the Legal Profession Uniform Law Application Act 2014), except as provided by that section.
