### sec.172 Redemption—worker moves interstate
This section applies if—
a worker receiving weekly payments of compensation moves interstate permanently; and
the insurer receives a report from a doctor that the worker’s injury is not stable and stationary for the purposes of assessing permanent impairment.
The insurer’s liability to make weekly payments of compensation may be discharged by a redemption payment to the worker in an amount agreed between the insurer and the worker.
(sec.172-ssec.1) This section applies if— a worker receiving weekly payments of compensation moves interstate permanently; and the insurer receives a report from a doctor that the worker’s injury is not stable and stationary for the purposes of assessing permanent impairment.
(sec.172-ssec.2) The insurer’s liability to make weekly payments of compensation may be discharged by a redemption payment to the worker in an amount agreed between the insurer and the worker.
