30 Compensation inalienable (1) Subject to this Act compensation under this Act (including a weekly payment or sum paid by way of redemption thereof) shall be absolutely inalienable whether by way or in consequence of sale assignment charge execution insolvency[[5]](#endnote-6) attachment legal process or by operation of law or otherwise howsoever nor shall any claim be set off against the same. S. 30(2) repealed by No. 8733 s. 3(4). No. 5601 s. 31.
