1BConstruction of references

1B Construction of references Any reference to this Act or to any provision of this Act in any other Act (except the **Accident Compensation Act 1985**) or in any regulation notice legal or other proceeding instrument document or other writing of any kind whatsoever shall, so far as relates to any matter to which this Act pursuant to section 1A(1)(a) does not apply and if not inconsistent with the context or subject-matter, be deemed and taken to be a reference to the **Accident Compensation Act 1985** or the corresponding provision of that Act.
