92 Register of injuries
(1) This section applies to a mine, quarry, factory, workshop, office or
shop (the workplace).
(2) A register of injuries (the register) is to be kept at the workplace in a
place that is readily accessible to workers at the workplace.
(3) The manager of the mine or quarry, or the occupier of the factory,
workshop, office or shop, must ensure the register is kept in
accordance with subsection (2).
(4) A person must not change, damage, deface, remove or otherwise
interfere with the register.
(5) A worker employed at the workplace, or a person acting on the
worker’s behalf, may enter in the register details of an injury received
by the worker.
(6) If details of the injury are entered in the register as soon as possible
after the injury happens, the entry is taken to be notice of the injury
given to the employer by the injured worker for this Act.
(8) This section does not prevent the alteration of the register to correct
an error of fact.
