73 Payments for medical treatment received from hospital
(1) This section applies if the employer is liable under this part to pay an
amount in relation to medical treatment received by the worker from
a hospital.
(2) The employer must pay the amount, less any amount previously paid
by the worker in relation to the treatment, on demand—
(a) for a private hospital—to the proprietor of the hospital; or
(b) for any other hospital—to the person authorised in writing by
the governing entity in charge of the hospital to receive
payments payable to the hospital.
