44 Living outside Australia
(1) A worker who is otherwise entitled to receive weekly compensation
is not entitled to the compensation if the worker stops living in
Australia.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to the worker if—
(a) the incapacity resulting from the injury is likely to be permanent;
or
(b) the worker’s absence from Australia is likely to help the worker
recuperate.
