28 Employment-related diseases
Without limiting by implication the operation of section 27, if—
(a) a worker has suffered, or is suffering from a disease, or the death
of a worker results from a disease; and
(b) the disease is a disease of a kind specified by regulation as a
disease that is related to employment of a kind so specified; and
(c) the worker was, at any time before symptoms of the disease first
became apparent, engaged in employment of that kind;
then, for this Act, unless the contrary is established, the employment
in which the worker was so engaged is taken to have been a
substantial contributing factor to the disease.
