202 Time for beginning prosecutions
(1) A prosecution for an offence against any of the following sections
must be started not later than 5 years after the day, or the last day, the
offence is committed:
• section 147A (Compulsory insurance—offences)
• section 155 (Information for licensed insurers on application for
issue or renewal of policies)
• section 156 (Information for licensed insurers after renewal of
policies)
• section 157 (Information for licensed insurers after end or
cancellation of policies)
• section 158 (Information for new licensed insurers after change
of insurers)
• section 203 (Criminal liability of executive officers).
(2) Subsection (1) only applies to an offence against section 203 if the
offence relates to the contravention by a corporation of another
section mentioned in subsection (1).
(3) A prosecution for an offence against any other provision of this Act
may be begun within 1 year after the commission of the offence.
