180 Definitions—ch 9
damages includes an amount paid under a compromise or settlement
of a claim for damages, whether or not a legal proceeding had been
started, but does not include an amount paid for costs incurred in
relation to a proceeding in a court.
injury, in relation to a worker, includes damage to the worker’s
contact lenses, crutches, prosthesis, spectacles or other artificial aid.
