145U Regulations about self-insurer licences
A regulation may prescribe the following in relation to self-insurer
licences:
(a) how an employer may apply for a self-insurer licence;
(b) the criteria to be considered by the regulator when deciding
whether to issue a self-insurer licence to an employer;
(c) the conditions that may be imposed on a self-insurer licence;
(d) the records to be kept by licensed self-insurers, to whom the
records must be provided and the way to provide the records;
(e) how licensed self-insurers’ performance may be monitored and
reviewed;
(f) what and when licensed self-insurers must report to the
regulator;
(g) the suspension and cancellation of self-insurer licences.
