588  Changes to information  (1) The operator of a licensed major hazard facility must give the regulator written notice of any change to any material particular in any information given at any time by the operator to the regulator in relation to the licence within 14 days after the operator becomes aware of the change. Example: A change to the quantity of the hazardous chemicals present or likely to be present at the facility. Note: Section 12F of the Act provides that strict liability applies to each physical element of each offence under the Act, unless otherwise stated. The reference in section 12F of the Act includes these Regulations.  (2) Subregulation (1) applies whether the information was given in the application for grant or renewal of the licence or in any other circumstance.
